Here's how my 2022 Reading Challenge will work...
- Each week, I'll choose a new book to read, from the list below. Books included may be from different genres... everything from children's books, to Young Adult, to non-fiction, to nearly every fiction genre out there. The only exception is that I won't read erotica... that's not really my thing. (Last Update 12/24/21)
- There are empty slots available. Titles may be suggested until all the slots are full. All title suggestions MUST be written by Indie Authors. Authors are not required to donate books, I'm happy to buy them.
- If I don't receive enough book suggestions to complete this list by January 1, 2022, I may add additional books by Indie Authors who already appear on this list.
- I'll record the start date for each book. I do not promise to go in any particular order.
- FYI, to build my own confidence for this project, I've added a few books that I'm already in the process of reading. Everyone needs a head start, right?
- Every day, I will update this form with my current page count for the book(s) I'm reading. [E-book page counts are recorded according to my tablet's settings-I have old eyes-so your page count may be different.]
- Authors and other friends, may inspire me through their GENTLE nagging and nudging via text messages, emails, Facebook posts & direct messages. I do not condone bullying on any level. If I get bullied by an author, I will stop reading that book, their book will be removed from the list, and another put in it's place. This is supposed to be fun, guys... please don't make it not that.
- When I've finished reading a book, I'll post the finish date.
- Within two days after I've finished reading a book, I will write a review and post it to my Blog Thingy, as well as share the review on Amazon, Goodreads, and social media.
- Books written by Indie Authors, that I am editing, will not count toward this challenge... but I may write reviews for them, after their book goes to press.
- If time and energy allow, I may also read Trad published books throughout the year, and write reviews on them, but they don't count toward this challenge, either.
